New Work from Rachel L: Osman LFW Illustrations for Amelia's Magazine

More LFW fashion illustrations! I think this is the last of us to post now. These were done for Osman's AW11 show, I really love the simplicity and bold colours of the collection.

Hope you like them!

Also just to let you all know that my website has had a bit of a redesign; take a look and tell me what you think!

New Work from Rachel L: Cooperative Designs LFW for Amelia's Magazine

More London Fashion Week illustrations! I think most of us did at least one illustration for Amelia's Mag this season; it's just such a good way of getting easy access to the catwalk images! Love it.

The first of my pieces to go up is this one, done for Cooperative Designs AW11 Presentation.

It's always a bit of a crazy one, illustrating for Amelia's Mag during Fashion Week, as most pieces have a 24 hour deadline. Luckily you end up getting pretty good at working fast!

More from me soon, when the other pieces I did go live...

London Fashion Week

Hello! We at Tea & Crayons may not have been posting lots, but boy we have been busy! Our promotional material is coming along nicely, we really can't wait to get sending out our 500 packs! As well as the one seen in Fritha's post, here is another photo of the postcards.

And these are just my set of 500, we have 3000 between us, wow! Thank you Rachel L for counting these out for us!

Anyway, as some of you may know London Fashion Week is in full swing, so I thought I'd share a couple of my illustrations with you.

I haven't posted here for a while, so thought I'd share some of my newer work with you.

Pretty Rubbish

Hello wonderful followers!

This week myself and Fritha have been busy doing illustrations for Amelia's Magazine. We illustrated the wonderful designs of recycled fashion label Pretty Rubbish.

The article is beautifully written by Hels Martin and I think you'll agree all the illustrations in the article are fabulous! You can read the whole article here.

I know that Fritha has been experimenting with a new style in this piece, and I for one think they look stunning!

These are the two illustration Fritha produced for the article. Beautiful, no?

And here is my illustration, I was very happy with the results!

Amelia's Compendium of Fashion Illustration

Hello, Abby here!

I wanted to share something rather exciting with you all! Me and fellow Tea & Crayons member, Natasha, will soon have some of our fashion illustrations displayed in Amelia's Compendium of Fashion Illustration. It's available to order now and by the looks of the proofs it's going to be beautiful! We're really proud to be involved and we hope you'll like it too! (All photos by Amelia Gregory)

The proofs of my pages. I love the pattern and colour everywhere!

Natasha's page proofs! They look amazing, don't they? I'm so proud of her!

If you do manage to get a copy let us know what you think! Abby xx

New work from Rachel Lewis: Proud Kitchen for Amelia's Magazine

This fits in with our current theme of Snacks quite nicely...

Last week I was commissioned by Amelia’s Magazine to produce a couple of illustrations for an article by Jessica Furseth about the launch of new Camden restaurant, Proud Kitchen.
Above is my first illustration; the space is an extension of what is already known as a venue for music, art, cabaret and clubbing – the launch of Proud Kitchen completes the experience. It is an old converted stable so you can still see the original features like windows and beams, in the above illustration.
A starter of bresaola of beef, with piccalilli and sourdough toast - Looks so yummy – illustrating food from a photo is never quite as good as when you get to make it and eat it yourself!
