Introducing Tea and Crayons - Fritha

Hello there! Its Fritha here ( aka Tigerlilly Quinn  ) its nice to meet you!

So here is a little about me just a little 'get to know you kinda thing'

Name/Location:
Fritha Moonbeatle Tigerlilly Quinn - Bristol

Describe your style and how you work:

I would say that my style is quite childlike as is my personality! I love colour and cute sentiments! I always use my 0.5 rotering pen and then colour with either felt tips/digitally or with paint or ink

What/Who inspires you:
Family/home/romantic movies and period dramas

Favourite type of illustration to work on: (by this I mean editorial, children's book, etc)
Children's book for sure, I would love to do this as my full time job

Proudest moment of your career so far:
I think it will be featuring in the new issue of Ballad Of due out on the 12th of November, you can purchase it at the Tate (!) and Harrods Waterstones amongst other places. I am planning on going up to London a few weeks later with my mum and I think buying a copy of my published artwork with my mam will be the proudest moment of my life so far!

Ambitions for the next 5 years:
To run my own crafty/vintage boutique and working as a freelance illustrator

Favourite Tea?
English Breakfast - Classic

Favourite Crayon Colour?
Turquoise

Guilty Pleasure:
Playing retro games on my DS (tetris/settlers) in my PJ's in bed (geek!)

If you were an animal you would be:
Bush baby

Cake or Curtains?
Curtains (retro flowery ones)

Dogs or Dancing?
Dancing (I would like to point out I am an animal person but am very much a cat lady so saying dogs seems like a betrayal)

Well I hope you liked my little just for fun fact file! Tell me about you! xoxo
