Out & About: Rumble in the Jumble, Sunday 26th Feb 2012
We've just been told about this and it sounds amazing - we'll be there for sure!
Dawn Porter is teaming up with a host of celebrities to bring you Rumble in the Jumble, ‘A gigantic jumble sale raising quids for a brilliant cause’.
Join Dawn Porter, Gemma Cairney, Cherry Healey and Caroline Flack on Sunday 26th February 2012 at St Pancras Old Church, Pancras Road, London NW1 1UL (nearest tube Kings Cross) for the chance to renew your wardrobe and make a difference to women living in poverty worldwide.
For just £2 entry, and bringing at least one bag of your own jumble,
you can join Kate Nash, Sara Cox, Gizzi Erskine, Grace Woodward and
Brigitte Aphrodite, trading in your jumble for some new eco-chic. Any
jumble remaining will be donated to Oxfam.
Dawn wrote ‘We are going to raise LOADS of money for Oxfam to help women around the world. So bring your jumble, buy some jumble, have a jumble…LET’S JUMBLE!!’. She also urged readers who can’t make the fantastic jumble event to host their own.
For more information, why not check out Dawn’s website or view and share the event flyer? You can also view the Facebook event.
Does anyone know who designed the fanastic flyer? It's amazing. Bright colours? Shoes? We love a lot. Hope to see you there crayonettes!!

Tea & Crayons Heart :: Dyed Denim Shorts
Another busy week for the Crayons! Designing and drawing (as always), but also dyeing denim (that'll be me, Kayleigh). The pictures above are amongst the many that inspired me to do so. Aren't they fab? The vibrant and exciting colours tie in nicely with last week's inspiration post, along with something top secret we are working on at T&C HQ. Keep up with the blog and all shall be revealed in good time...
I may post pics of the shorts I have dyed once they are complete. I'm waiting on some push studs to arrive to give them a funky edge. If you guys are thinking about dyeing some denim of your own then head over to youtube - there are some good videos to help get you started.
